To whom it may concern,
Following the implementation of both an individual and group coaching with Hennie Vorster strategy within our organisation I can confidently state that the impact has been nothing short of incredible.
On a personal level I am now able to distance or immerse myself in matters that require one or the other approach whereas in the past I would have immersed myself in all matters. This is not to say that I have any less empathy, it simply means I can distinguish between “my stuff, their stuff and our stuff”.
Looking back I can see that the intention is not to impose growth, but rather develop it. The coaching has also taught me to reflect on almost all matters before responding. This does not imply weeks of reflection, but rather seconds. Certain matters do, however, require longer reflection. This is because I have a better understanding of my core values and personality.
I have not changed who I am I have simply become a better “me”.
Our Company growth increased by an average of 17% annually where, in the past, it was hovering around 9%. Yes, we had the people who knew the job, but the people did not necessarily have the emotional skills needed to achieve what we did. What is incredible to see is an A- type personality that is able to hold back their opinion and listen before responding. And at that respond in a meaningful manner.
In the last 38 months we have not lost one of our 7 staff members. This is probably the greatest indicator that the coaching has worked as unhappy people tend to move on. Instead we now have a well paid, independent thinking and highly motivated team of people who know who they are.
You will be taken out of your comfort zone and resignations are highly likely, but what you will be left with is nothing short of the best true version of you as an individual and your company as an entity.

It is easy to talk to Hennie, he had everyone feeling at ease and made us step out of our comfort zone, which was veryimportant. Over a six (6) month period he assisted greatly with our communication- and interpersonal development.

Some benefits that I got out of the individual coaching was that it helped me set my vision and mission in life. It helped me to establish and take action towards achieving my goals and to become more self-reliant (Increased my self confidence).
I also learned to prioritise things in my work space and life.
The coaching helped me to step outside my comfort zone and not be shy to speak in front of a crowd of people!
For me, this whole experience with Henny was something different and rather interesting. I have never done or been part of something of that sort before. It took me out my comfort zone, it basically gave me a different outlook on how I see things. I noticed when you discuss something out loud with others, you tend to be able to understand it better or in a different light as you get to feed off from other people’s ideas and thoughts. Hennie has taught me to be less self-aware, to say what I feel is right although it does not meet others approval.
We have to communicate and accept people for who they are even if we feel that they can up their standards. We all have our differences. He asked a lot of personal questions and was a good listener and gave a few pointers where necessary.
He wanted me to stop making endless lists of things to do in a day and work of 1 list until all has been done (easier said than done-everyday new things added) - working progress “sigh”. He also thought me that I have a purpose and I need to add value to Beyonda’s five (5) core values: integrity, passion, leadership, support and creativity.
I was able to recognise where I could improve myself personally and professionally. You get to know who you really are; you’re values, beliefs and the purpose you wish to pursue. You start accepting people for what and who they are as everyone is different. Thank you, Hennie!!!
